The Role
You’ll get to work on some of the latest trucks, trailers and even buses with the latest diagnostic equipment. Completing scheduled servicing on all types of heavy equipment, some of the scheduled serving can take up to 6 hours so you need to be methodical, and process driven to ensure the job is done right the first time. You will be required to complete minor COF repairs. If you are an experienced heavy diesel mechanic then there will be a lot more tasks available for you which include right up to full engine/gearbox rebuilds, diagnosing major faults, electrical repairs etc.
Skills & Experience
We want people that are passionate about servicing and fixing trucks! Whether you have a trade certificate or you been working in a workshop completing servicing on similar gear – we want to hear from you. If you are not a qualified mechanic but have some experience and passion in servicing, we will invest the time and resources into you to get you upskilled and to get the job done right. Having a class 4 license would be an advantage but not a requirement. A positive work ethic with the ability to work as part of a team and independently and be prepared to work within Transport Repairs H&S guidelines and policies at all times.
