Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Bromley

We are the Cummins Engine Dealer for Marlborough, Otago and Southland, we are a SouthPac Trucks Ltd Dealer, supporting the premier brands of DAF, Kenworth and TRP products in Marlborough, Canterbury, Central Otago and Southland. Our workshops are modern, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, including the latest diagnostic tools. Our parts department provide diverse products and high stock turn over, leading the industry. The Job Transport Repairs are in search for qualified heavy diesel mechanic to work at our Bromley branch of Transport Repairs where you will be servicing and repairing a fleet of 50+ trucks.

You will be required to take these trucks for COFs so, you will need a minimum of a class 4 license with the ability and willingness to obtain your class 5.

Desired skills and experience include:

Heavy Diesel or Automotive Qualification with 3 years' experience. Mechanical capabilities and technical skills for servicing and repair of heavy commercial vehicles and trailers. A good diagnostic ability with analytical thinking to get the job done by using diagnostic equipment but training is provided.
